2019 oh what a year!
It’s been another 12 months of political turmoil, climate chaos and, of course, Brexit. But despite the doom and gloom, our clients have been shouting about their business successes and winning plenty of awards to show how strong their businesses really are!
This year alone, we have helped our clients to succeed in hundreds of awards, including;
- National Business Awards
- UK National Contact Centre Awards
- Utility Week Awards
- European Contact Centre and Customer Service Awards
- BusinessGreen Leaders Awards
- Credit Strategy Utilities & Telecomms Awards
- International Customer Experience Awards
- EY Entrepreneur of the Year Awards
- The Learning Awards
- Growth Investor Awards
- Employee Experience Awards
- UK Customer Experience Awards
- Energy Awards
- And many, many, many more!
And in April 2019, we celebrated the success of our clients in the most prestigious business award in the world… The Queen’s Award for Enterprise.
One client in particular was very happy to shout about his success. Andrew Burnett-Thompson, CEO of SciChart said, “I couldn’t be happier, or more shocked, to have won a Queen’s Awards for Enterprise for Innovation. Donna’s guidance was invaluable, and without her support and expertise we would have never even entered, never mind won!”
Huge congratulations to Andrew and his exceptional team, as well as our many winners across the UK.
Donna O’Toole, CEO, Awards Expert & International Judge
To keep our finger on the pulse, August CEO and awards expert Donna O’Toole judges and advises on many different industry awards throughout the year, assessing entries, learning about new trends, and deepening her knowledge of what the entrants need to win each year!
Donna also runs free webinars with awards organisers to help entrants overcome barriers to success and to enter. These awards include; the Growth Investor Awards, the National Business Awards, the UK Employee Experience Awards, Amazon ScaleUp Awards and UK Customer Experience Awards, the Digital Experience Awards, to international competitions including the International Customer Experience Award in Amsterdams, and the Association of MBAs Awards and the Stevies Sales and Customer Service Awards in the US.
Donna says, “Judging the entries is always an interesting activity, and seeing the hard work of the entrants come to life in a face-to-face presentation is a real privilege. It’s an incredibly revealing process, but the best teams always shine bright in the end.”
We are very lucky to be invited to many award ceremonies and events. Definitely, one of the many perks of working in the awards industry!
This year we had the pleasure of attending the National Business Awards, UK CXAs, International CXAs and Learning Awards Finals to name a few. We love hearing the winners be announced and seeing the elation on the teams’ faces, knowing we have done all we can to get them on the stage!
But it’s not just parties we attend! Donna has been invited to speak at various events organised by Moore Kingston Smith, Gatwick Diamond Business, Natwest Entrepreneur Accelerator and Supper Club. It’s great to be able to share our knowledge and motivate great companies to enter awards and get recognition.
A special thank you to all the incredible awards organisers we work with to share the many great awards programmes, bringing real value to our clients across the year. We love supporting entrants with their entries and presentations through our awards training days, free webinars, and we can’t wait to be involved in the 2020 programmes!
This year we were delighted to join The Women’s Chapter and to become one of the founding members of The Marketing Network to create meaningful relationships with like-minded people, continue to grow, and champion entrepreneurs.
Coming up in 2020!
New Year’s Day means a new Queen’s New Year’s Honours list! We’ll be letting you know which inspiring individuals have been awarded an honour for their services to Britain.
We have big plans for 2020. Furthermore, we are moving to a bigger, better office and one of the first events we’ll be hosting is our exclusive How to Win Awards Masterclass training day in February!
And of course, we’re looking forward to even more award wins for our clients and training more teams to enter and win awards using their new skills.
Finally, we would like to thank you for your continued support and wish you the very best for the festive season! We will be back in the new year, and ready to make your 2020 award-winning.Bookmark
