197 British businesses have been recognised with a King’s Award for Enterprise, the highest accolade a UK business can receive for their achievements.
In 2025, winners have won across the four categories;
- 116 International Trade winners
- 46 Innovation winners
- 27 Sustainable Development winners
- 10 Promoting Opportunity winners
Two exceptional companies, Sonardyne International, and Delta Fire, have accomplished the incredible achievement of receiving two awards.
Ian Gardner, Managing Director and Founder of Delta Fire, said:
“We are absolutely thrilled to receive two King’s Awards for Enterprise for both Innovation and Sustainable Development. These two highly prestigious awards are a fantastic recognition of the great team work in Delta Fire over the last 35 years from a small workshop unit to a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility using net zero energy.”
Who are the winners of the 2025 King’s Awards for Enterprise
Out of the 197 winning businesses 176 (88%) are classified as SMEs, 27 of those (14%) are micro-businesses, with 10 employees or less. Proving that no matter your size, if you are doing brilliant things – you have the chance to win!
Amongst the winners is Guernsey Glamping Site Camp de Reves in the sustainable development category. They are the first business from the island to win a King’s Award.

Lt-Governor Lt General Richard Cripwell who will present the award to the Guernsey team, said;
“I am delighted to see a Guernsey-based company receive the prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise – a first for our island and I hope this marks the start of many more such awards.”
Other winners include;
North West business My Happy Mind, winning in the Innovation category for their NHS-backed, science-based programme to improve mental well-being and resilience in children.
Student accommodation agency, Londonist DMC has been awarded a King’s Award for International Trade. With offices in London, Istanbul, and Shanghai, they support students from over 170 countries worldwide with a full suite of student services.
Inspirational London-based catering company, Social Pantry, have been awarded the King’s Award for Promoting Opportunity through Social Mobility. They have helped 40+ prison leavers with employment over the past decade, driven by the passion, vision, and determination of Social Pantry’s founder and CEO Alex Head.
Iconic folding-bike maker, Brompton, have been recognised for their Sustainable Development. Having previously won in the Innovation and International Trade categories, at a time when the cycling industry is struggling, CEO Will Butler-Adams said, “This award couldn’t have come at a better time. Things like the King’s Award just make everyone feel good – you need to find things to celebrate when times are tough.”

About The King’s Awards for Enterprise

The King’s Awards for Enterprise are the most prestigious awards a UK business can win. The Awards are designed to recognise outstanding achievements across four categories;
- Innovation
- International trade
- Sustainable development
- Promoting opportunity (through social mobility)
The awards have been recognising businesses for 60 years, originally named the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, they were renamed in 2023 following the accession of King Charles.
As well as receiving the highest possible accolade, winners also get;
- Invited to a Royal reception
- Presented with the award by one of The King’s representatives, typically a Lord-Lieutenant, at the company’s HQ
- To fly The King’s Awards flag at their main office, and use the emblem on marketing materials (for example, packaging, advertisements, stationery and website)
- Given a Grant of Appointment (an official certificate) and a commemorative crystal trophy
The awards are valid for 5 years, so winners can really get the most out of their wins.

The King’s Awards for Enterprise are free to enter and open to all UK based businesses with a minimum of 2 employees.
The awards process is rigorous and in-depth, and looks at all aspects of your business.
